Nestled within the "Fresh Life" compound at the Toombul Shopping Centre, Sushi D'Lite is a small, affable sushi bar that does a brisk trade. Before we start, I should mention that I've been here a number of times before, and it has been very good. It may also be a little unfair to expect a small sushi bar to bring "mad game" quite late on a Sunday afternoon.

Both tuna rolls were amply stuffed with filling, the rice was excellent albeit a little under-seasoned and slightly dry, and the nori was slightly tougher than I would prefer. Overall impression is that the tuna rolls were rather bland; the filling lacked that delightful hint of pepper and mayonnaise behind the tuna.
The teriyaki chicken rolls were similarly serviceable, though unremarkable. The chicken was fatty, the lettuce a little wilted, and the teriyaki flavour barely noticeable. Presentation was ordinary as well, though that's generally the last thing on my mind when I need an affordable sushi fix.
In all, "good, but not great" sums up this experience nicely - which is a rather disappointing result for Sushi D'Lite, as I have certainly had great sushi from them in the past.
